Meet The Team

Before co-founding Homes By Design NW, Katie worked as a GP, an experience that shaped her focus on people, systems, and getting things right first time. As Managing Director, she sets the direction for the business, builds and maintains relationships with local authorities, and drives the company's growth strategy, ensuring every part of the business stays aligned with its mission of providing safe, well-managed homes for families at risk of homelessness.

Rick brings a background in construction and asset management to his role as Operations Director. He is responsible for building and embedding the processes that run across the whole business, from property onboarding to day-to-day operations, ensuring HBD operates consistently and efficiently as it grows.

Rob is a qualified plumbing and heating engineer with extensive experience managing large residential projects. He owns Design Plumbing Services, HBD's sister company, and as Renovations Director leads on the renovation and refurbishment works across HBD's portfolio, keeping properties safe, well maintained, and ready for occupiers.

Deb's background in operations and compliance underpins her role as Property Manager. She is responsible for ensuring every HBD property remains compliant and maintained to standard, and for keeping strong, clear communication with the people living in our properties.
